Property description

This lovely Victorian family house is just perfect for anyone looking for a home that is full of character. Victorian features include original stripped wood floorboards, ornate coving and ceiling rose, built in wardrobes and some marble fireplaces. These original features set a wonderful atmosphere in the house and this is certainly evident in the lounge.

This spacious room boasts a large bay window that allows an abundance of light to flood in which when paired with tall ceilings creates a very bright and airy space. A touch of warmth is added by the original fireplace that has a real flame gas fire, so you can curl up on the sofa in the warm.

The dining room also has an original fireplace and there are French doors that take you out into the garden.

To the rear of the property there is a much more modern vibe with a large kitchen/dining room. This room is ideal for families as you can catch up around the table after a long day whilst talking to whom ever is doing the cooking.

Space is a strong theme that runs throughout this house and all four bedrooms have ample room for double beds. Bedroom one is incredibly light and spacious and is a wonderful room that really catches the eye.

Downstairs there is a cellar that has two large rooms which if converted properly (subject to planning permission) could provide a games room, office, gym or even a television room!

What the Owner says:

St Andrews Road has been a family home for about twenty years now so it will really be missed when its sold.

One of the things I love about this house is the location. In one direction Commercial Road and the main line railway are only a ten -fifteen minute walk and if you head south you can either enjoy a few drinks or a meal out on Albert Road. Walk a little further and you will be on the seafront where you can enjoy a stroll by the beach.

We've maintained the house well since being here including having a completely new roof fitted, re-pointing the walls and general redecoration. So there should be little for the next owners to do.
