We have lived in this house since it was built and it has been a wonderful family home for since 1970. However it has been necessary to make a move so the house is immediately available for new owners. In all the time we have been here we have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the marvellous Hawksdown estate community. It is very quiet and peaceful as well as being very safe for children and I hope another family will be able to enjoy everything about it as much as we have. At the same time we are within walking distance of a selection of local shops as well as the seafront and are not far from the bus stop and the mainline station and Deal with its individual shops and restaurants is only a short drive.
One of the things that originally attracted us to the place was the large plot and over the years we have developed the garden to provide a wonderful outdoor space. There is a vast terrace where you can enjoy al fresco entertaining and barbecues throughout the summer and if you want to relax you can watch fish in the attractive pond or just sunbathe undisturbed. For anyone interested in ‘grow your own’ there is a greenhouse, garden storage shed and raised beds and a lawn large enough for the children to have a game of football or build a play area. At the front of the house the brick paved driveway leading to the double garage offers space for off road parking but is also surrounded by mature shrubs and flower borders to provide an immediate welcome to family and visitors.
