We were looking for somewhere that had a countryside feel but with good links into London. The house was ready to live in but we have repainted throughout and put in a new cloakroom. The rear garden was completely reconfigured 18 months ago and we will miss breakfast on the front terrace and evening drinks on the main patio. With two young children, we have loved the peace and tranquillity of the cul-de-sac and will miss our lovely neighbours. It's a big stamp of a house which we have found works perfectly for our family, whether it's a kids birthday party or friends over for a BBQ and drinks into the evening. Edenbridge has tremendous leisure facilities and the recent arrival of Waitrose and new cafes and restaurants make it a great place to live.
