Property description
Located in the desirable village of Ansty and built in 1894, this handsome property offers a mix of beautifully presented period features, and modern living, well suited to a family or professional couple.
In the lounge/diner you can relax by the fireplace with the wood burner or on a Sunday morning relax in the drawing room reading the broadsheets. The kitchen has ample space for a table for guests and any budding chef will be in awe with an Aga to cook up some culinary delights.
Upstairs you will be amazed by the size of all the bedrooms, with bedroom one having an en-suite larger than most family bathrooms!
The landscaped gardens with a summer house offer a high degree of peace and seclusion and the property would make a great 'lock up and leave' type home, less than five miles from Hayward’s Heath mainline railway station with direct access to London and Gatwick.
There is ample parking with a car port and a log store.
There is so much potential with this property with the double garage which could easily be converted into an annexe for an elderly relative. Also with the size of the rear garden ideal for a building plot.
The layout of the house lends itself to a modern family lifestyle, with wonderful walks and bike rides straight from the doorstep.
You really won’t appreciate what this house has to offer until you get inside!
What the Owner says:
We have lived here since 2004. Since then we have made many modernisations and extended the property.
What attracted us to the property was the village location it’s so convenient with the A23 you can be down to Brighton in no time or up to Gatwick. There is also good public transport links.
The garden is outstanding we love spending the summer months out there and having the grandchildren round to play. We also enjoy our summer house equipped with power and light.
