We built the house to our own specification almost 15 years ago and it’s been a happy home for us ever since. We wanted to create a property that was both open and spacious but still clearly separated out. The hallway is over 20ft long and all the rooms flow from it, at Christmas we open up the dining room and have a huge table spanning the length of the hall and dining room together. We can easily seat about 30 people.

It’s definitely a social house, we regularly have friends round or parties, you could easily fit over 100 people. We often sit with our guests out in the garden; we’ve set up a bar and several decking areas. If you sit up the top the views are stunning.
