Property description

If you're looking for a fantastic family home within walking distance of Dorking High Street, stations and schools, then look no further! From the minute you walk through the front door you will appreciate the care that the current owners have gone to in updating this house. The lounge is a really good size and light floods in, it is the perfect space for putting your feet up with a good book or watching television. The heart of the home is always the kitchen and you won't be disappointed with the modern and bright kitchen and dining areas at the rear. It is the perfect place if you're cooking tea as you can keep an eye on the children whether they are doing their homework at the table or playing in the garden. Throw open the bi-fold doors and let the outside in. Upstairs the bedrooms are all a good size and with built-in wardrobes, there is plenty of space for a growing family or if you have friends and family to stay over. With a modern stylish bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom this house has all you could need in a family home. There is plenty of room on the patio for your table and chairs and a barbecue if you fancy some al-fesco dining in the warmer months. There is the added bonus of rear access to the garden so if you've got a few new plants or just cutting the lawn you don't have to bring anything through the house. There is also a garage en-bloc which is perfect for storing the children's outdoor toys and bikes. With walks to Denbies and Ranmore close by, this house really does have it all.

What the Owner says:

This house has been in my family for three generations, almost since it was built! The reason for this is because of the fantastic size of the rooms and the amount of light the property lets in. This, along with the generously sized garden, which you rarely find in such close proximity to town, has kept each generation happy.
The location is fantastic, we love walking through the vineyard and up Ranmore at weekends as well as being close to the town, stations and the park. The cul-de-sac is quiet and family friendly, we are happy to let the children play in the road, just as we did as kids!
We have updated the boiler and re-wired the house to modern needs and standards in the last few years. This house is going to be difficult to replace!
