Property description
Tucked away in the country lanes just outside of a traditional village location.
From the moment you pull up outside the property you realise that it’s tucked away enough to enjoy the countryside but not too far from the local shops, including a butchers, greengrocers and paper shop.
Here you are blessed with parking, both directly outside the front door and an extra plot one house away with a long tandem space and a garage to spend those Sundays pottering around fixing bikes and playing with the car or motorbike.
The house has a great traditional layout offering a front lounge with bay, ideal for the family to enjoy their favourite TV programme or game.
Whilst this home is ready for an aesthetic makeover it is easy to overlook the great potential it has to offer. With the garden reaching off into the distance it is crying out for a summerhouse and patio, ideal for summers in the sun with the children. For those more serious gardeners you have plenty of room to let your imagination run wild, designing you own piece of Eden.
In summary, properties with this opportunity don’t come up that often, and with some creativity and a little work you can own your own stunning slice of the countryside.
What the Owner says:
When we first saw this home it was a friend’s house. It was perfect for us and we dreamed of living here. We always joked and said that, ‘if you ever decided to sell, let us know and give us first refusal'. One day we got the call that they were moving on and we have never looked back.
It’s our very own bit of the countryside with a large rear garden backing on to the fields.
We have now spent many happy years here but now are retired and need something a little different.
