We have lived here for ten years and the position was the main reason we bought here. Its so quiet, we couldn't believe our luck! The garden is quiet as it looks over the park.
We used to rent one of the garages situated at the back of the property but its quiet enough out the front to be able to park so we stopped. I've always worked in London so the motorway being so close has been a godsend as it makes it easy to get to and from work!
