The property, which is Grade II Listed and in a Conservation area, is of traditional stone & cob construction with rendered elevations under a thatched roof, with two single storey additions at the rear encompassing the Kitchen and the Conservatory, both under flat roofs. The cottage is in good order throughout, offering comfortable and well laid out three bedroom accommodation which is full of all the character and charm one would expect from a cottage of this period, including the original stone fireplace with fully lined chimney in the Sitting Room, traditional multi-pane windows and beamed ceilings throughout.

Outside and to the front and rear of 2 Sunnyside are delightful cottage gardens which are mainly laid to lawn with mature hedging, creating a high degree of privacy and seclusion. There is also a gated tarmac off-road parking area at the front of the cottage with ample space for at least one car.
