Property description

This lovely home has the best of both worlds, situated in a quiet picturesque lane in a thriving scenic village, which is not only secluded and peaceful, but also perfect for those leisurely strolls around the corner to the village shop or post office to pick up your paper or your essentials. You can even enjoy a chat with the local residents.

The lounge and dining rooms are perfect for entertaining or when you have family to stay as there is plenty of room for everyone.

The house has a beautiful bathroom and gives you the option of choosing to having a nice relaxing soak or, if you are in a rush, then you have a separate shower cubicle, which is very useful for those with less time on their hands.

There is a good amount of parking which extends to the side of the house and with a garage you can even work on your car in the dry.

There is plenty to do if you want - whether you fancy joining the snooker club, bowls club, gardening club, Women's Institute, bingo and children's clubs there is something for absolutely everyone. There is a local primary school nearby so you can leave the car at home and enjoy a walk with your children to school. The beach of St Margarets bay is not far where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings or visit the Pines Gardens and on the way home pop into one of the local pubs in the village for a refreshing drink.

What the Owner says:

When I was looking for a home over 30 years ago I was particularly taken with the position of this house as it was tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac.

The lovely garden is great if you are green fingered, for growing your own vegetables. The village has its own village hall, tea rooms, football and cricket pitch and superb play area which anyone with children or grand children you can pop out and play. There is even a duck pond where you can go and feed the ducks.

Being so close to the sea I knew this village was going to perfect for me. It is close to the A2/A20 for travelling by car and nearby Martin Mill train station. Dover ferry port is also a short drive away.
