The location was definitely a large part of the attraction when my father moved here over 30 years ago. Being part of village life, there was a nice community feel.
For families, there is the local primary school close by for the little ones and, as the stations also nearby, it is great for those who commute to work.
Getting away for trips is made all the more convenient by having good access to the rod networks of the M25/M23.
