CHERITON FITZPAINE is a parish and substantial village approximately one and a half miles north-east of the Crediton/Tiverton A3072 road. It is a typical Mid Devon village with traditional white cottages and thatched roofs. There is a pub, a post office/store and a doctors surgery. A brand new multi million pound primary school opened in October 2010 for 125 local children. The city of Exeter is about 9 miles away and the town of Crediton 5 miles with its shopping centre and schooling facilities.DIRECTIONS: From Crediton head towards Tiverton on the A3072, taking the turning on your left signposted Cheriton Fitzpaine, stay on this road which leads you to the village centre. Upon reaching the Half Moon pub, turn left & Rosemary Cottage will be found around 75 yards down on your left, opposite the church, just before the Post Office.
