Property description
Blink and you will miss it!! Set back from the road this stunning home has a well stocked, private secluded front garden as well as a large rear garden. As well as having a driveway for several cars this home comes together with a lay by to the front so, if you have a lot of visitors, you should never have any issues with parking.
The home is light and airy and has been kept in pristine condition by the current owners. An extension was added years ago to bedroom 1 which is now reminiscent of something you get in a top notch hotel, together with a beautiful en-suite.
Never again will your feet have to endure the cold as you have a touch of luxury with under floor heating in the bespoke kitchen as well as the family bathroom.
The lounge is such a welcome retreat with its dual aspect windows overlooking the mature front garden. Anyone is bound to welcome this when coming home at the end of the day. What better way to unwind soaking up the view in peace and quiet.
The village of Shepherdswell has a lot to offer. Not only does it have its own main line railway station it has a well respected primary school, Co-Op, post office, local pub, village hall, pre-school and an abundance of fantastic countryside walks. You are placed a few minutes drive from the A2 so you can access Dover and Canterbury easily.
What the Owner says:
When we originally bought this house 11 years ago and fell in love with it straight away. We often have friends to stay and having good size rooms was a big issue for us. The previous owners even had planning permission for additional bedrooms and an en-suite into the attic. This has since lapsed but it should be a good indication of being able to get the consents again.
We have a lovely outlook and often see squirrels scurrying around and have plenty of birds frequenting the gardens.
It has been such a tranquil place to live, yet we have all the facilities of the village at our disposal. We are only moving now as we are looking to downsize.
