My husband and I were looking for a new home back in the 1960s and came across this plot of land. We felt that Shamley Green would be the perfect place to live so we decided to build our very own home just as we wanted.
Not only has the bungalow been ideal, but the garden has been a real joy. It's so nice to look out over the lawns and flower beds to the trees behind which screen the garden so well.
The time has now come for me to move somewhere a little smaller but I feel sure the new owners will appreciate my lovely home as I have over all those years.
