We fell in love with the cottage nearly ten years ago. It was very tired but we love the challenge restoring properties and we could see how lovely it could become.

We love to lie in bed and hear silence and we love to wake up in the morning to the sound of seagulls. We also wanted a period property with outside space that we could live in, not a courtyard and as soon as we saw the garden, we were hooked.

We also wanted an open hearth, not a wood burner. We use the fire constantly even in the summer and all of our guests love it too. We adore Lavender Cottage and it has given us so much as a family.
