Property description

Are you tired of getting off the train after a long commute, paying your parking fees, then heading home for another half an hour drive? What if home were a mere hop, skip and a jump away from the platform?

Calling all commuters, this will be your dream home! Picture stepping through the front door of your very own picture perfect cottage, neatly sat opposite a former hunting lodge, which is now an award winning restaurant. Head over for a bite to eat or a relaxing drink, or just curl in front of your open fire on chillier evenings with a glass of something more reasonably priced!

This could be a primary base or a lovely little bolt hole in the country, although you'll always be safe in the knowledge that the big city or the local towns are never too far away with the station being so close. Either way, this lovely cottage is the kind of home that will love you just as much as you will love it.

The classic Dering windows, exposed brickwork and gorgeous cottage style garden make this home one to be proud of. As it isn't listed, you can make all the little homely changes that you may wish to make with ease. With a separate dining room to entertain, guests can drink in their surroundings while you play host for the evening.

The pretty courtyard garden outside allows you to dine al fresco in style, yet there is still room for a small greenhouse, so you can still indulge in the good life, without the vast amount of maintenance.

This little gem won't be around for long, so give us a call before it gets snapped up!

What the Owner says:

One of the things I have always loved about this cottage is being able to walk to the woods fields and orchards nearby, where I can take in the peace and quiet surrounding. There are always birds singing in the garden, and every now and then I spot a cheeky hedgehog or two! In the winter I can hide myself away in front of the fire, but in the summer the cottage is glorious and really comes to life. One of the great features about this property is that there is even room to extend - my neighbours have created an upstairs bathroom over the kitchen giving even more space!
Now I have new challenges awaiting and wish the new owners a wealth of happiness, just like I have had.
