Property description

WOW! If you’re looking for a home with bags of potential and extensive planning permission, which has been granted already, then you have to come and view this detached two bedroom bungalow in the heart of Woodingdean. This home hasn’t been available to buy in over 50 years! This property could be turned into a family home to live in for the next 50 years too. Currently the home comprises of two bedrooms and two other rooms, but it has the potential for so much more!

The current planning permission's are extensive and allow for a further two bedrooms plus bathrooms on the first floor, with, unusually dormer windows and change to the front elevation, giving the new owners plenty of space and a home that could rival one of the best in the area. This development on the first floor would give you stunning panoramic views over Woodingdean and out to the Rottingdean Windmill and the sea!

Planning documents for the proposed development, and appeal permission granted, can be seen on the Brighton and Hove city council website, under ref: BH2014/01602, you can see all of this wonderful homes potential. Call now to book a viewing on one of our open house events and come and see for yourself.

What the Owner says:

This home has been in our family since our Dad purchased the original plot of land and then built the bungalow at the end of 1959. When we took ownership recently, our plan was to move into the bungalow ourselves. We just love the views and the garden, so we decided to get planning permission so that we could extend to make a large four bedroom famiy home.

The plans which has been passed, set out what we had hoped to do in the property and how we had hoped to make it our dream home, but life has a funny way of changing around you, so now we have found ourselves moving towards the West country.
