I can walk to Asdas in approximately 10 minutes and it takes me just a minute to walk to the local bus stops where the 100 bus runs every 10 minutes, either into Billericay in one direction and Basildon in the other, so it is extremely convenient if somebody needs the station.
There is a lovely picturesque village pond and at this time of year it is great to watch the ducks with their ducklings.
