Property description
Wow, this lovely little bungalow comes with so much history behind it and is so individual in its appearance I don’t think you will find another one like it anywhere.
The property was originally built in the late 1800’s for its owner Miss Fanny Isabella Black who ran it as a Sunday School for many years until her death in the 1950’s. After this period it was later known as the Clifford Mission Room, then later on in its life it became a scout hall for several more years. It was not until the early 1990’s that it was converted into a residential property providing the great accommodation that it offers today.
Located in a very central and convenient position - tucked away nicely off the town centre of Newport, so you can still stroll to the shops without having to use the car. This bungalow is so unusual it is sure to attract all sorts of buyers out there, from retired couples wanting to downsize to young couples seeking the first step onto the property ladder. Also, I’m sure investors and local builders will look at this and see vast potential to extend up and out to make a much larger property.

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was struck by the way the sunlight flooded the lounge in the afternoon. I soon discovered the courtyard garden was a real sun-trap for most of the day too!
This property is full of character and history, but it is easy to heat and maintain. It is a popular residential street and a quiet place to live.
It has been a very happy home for us for nearly ten years, but my family has literally outgrown it! During my travels in Asia, I learned that 25 is the Chinese heavenly number - this house has been my perfect retreat and I hope the new owner will enjoy it as much as I have.
